Shipping policy

I offer free FedEx shipping on every order. My goal is to make your shopping experience as seamless and stress-free as possible — that includes complimentary return shipping on all orders.

Because most pieces are made to order, delivery times can vary depending on the item. All orders are shipped via FedEx and are scheduled to arrive on or before the estimated delivery date provided in your order confirmation. Some items may ship sooner if they’re ready ahead of schedule, and you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your piece is on its way.

Jewelry often marks a meaningful moment — and I’m honored to be part of those celebrations. If your order is meant as a surprise, please let me know so I can help you keep it that way. Special arrangements, such as Saturday delivery, a specific delivery date, or holding your package at a FedEx location, can be made upon request.

Each order is carefully packaged in sustainably sourced, FSC-certified materials, ready for gifting or safekeeping.

Free Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

At Reed Yoder Designs, I stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every piece I create. Each design is made with care, precision, and the intention that it lasts a lifetime. I offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on all Reed Yoder Designs fine jewelry.

If your piece ever shows signs of damage that may be due to a manufacturing issue, please contact me so I can evaluate it personally. Customers within the United States receive complimentary shipping both ways for all warrantied repairs. For customers outside the U.S., a small refundable deposit may be required to help cover international shipping and inspection costs. This deposit is fully refunded if the repair is determined to be covered under warranty.

If a warranty issue is found, I’ll repair or replace your piece at no cost. If the damage falls outside warranty coverage, I’ll provide a detailed quote for repair before any work begins.

Please note that repairs or modifications made by another jeweler will void this warranty. Normal wear and tear, loss of gemstones, product loss, or theft are not covered. All fine jewelry—especially rings—can experience wear over time due to daily use. I encourage regular maintenance to preserve the integrity and beauty of your piece.

Examples of conditions not considered manufacturing defects include:

  • Natural wear to prongs or precious metal over time
  • Discoloration caused by chemicals, cosmetics, or bathing
  • Bent prongs or lost stones caused by impact or daily wear

For added peace of mind, I recommend maintaining independent jewelry insurance to protect against significant loss, theft, or accidental damage.

Returns & Exchanges

I want you to love your piece from Reed Yoder Designs. If for any reason you’re not completely happy with your purchase, you’re welcome to request a return or exchange within 30 days of the date your order was available for shipment or pickup.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Holiday Extension:
Orders placed between November 1 and December 15 may be returned or exchanged through January 15, giving you extra time during the holiday season.


Eligibility

To qualify for a return or exchange, items must be in unworn, original condition.
The following pieces are not eligible for return:

  • Custom, modified, or personalized jewelry
  • Engraved items (engraving can be removed for a small fee)
  • Rings that have been resized
  • Eternity bands or designs that cannot be resized due to structure

How to Return or Exchange

  1. Contact me at reedyoderdesigns@gmail.com to start the return process.
    I’ll provide a return authorization number and a complimentary FedEx shipping label.
  2. Pack your jewelry securely in the original packaging (or in a small ring box inside a double FedEx box).
    Be sure to include any promotional items or gifts that came with your purchase.
  3. Write your return authorization number on the outside of the box and affix the FedEx label.
  4. Drop off your package at a staffed FedEx location and ask for a receipt — this serves as proof of insured shipping.

Once your piece arrives safely, I’ll inspect it to ensure it’s in original condition. Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days and will be returned to your original payment method.


Resizing

I offer one complimentary ring resizing within one year of purchase, including free shipping both ways.
Some designs — such as eternity bands, alternative metals, or certain custom pieces — may not be resizable. I’ll always confirm before beginning any work.


A Note on International Orders

For international returns or repairs, all shipments must be sent back to the same country where the original order was delivered to avoid import duties or customs fees.
